Pay attention to:

• the way the writer formats the document visually,
• the way the writer cites their sources,
• the titles of the responses,
• How and where the writers identify themselves, 
• the location and tone of the writer’s main claim/position,
• how the writer structures their claims and evidence,
• the amount of summary the writer uses from the foundation article and how they introduce and use their other sources,
• the tone and diction the writer uses–is it formal/academic or is it more accessible to a general audience?
• Is there any personal writing/narrative included in the text?
